김가현(G99)
디지털 매체들을 통해 현실공간과 가상공간을 결합하고, 지금의 세상을 아카이빙하며, 사람들만이 아닌 이 세상의 모든 차원의 이야기들에 대한 작업을 이어나가고자 하는 다원 예술가
일상 생활에서 마주하게되는 현실의 다양한 공간들(곧 사라질 재개발 지역과 버려진 장소 뿐만 아니라, 자연 그대로의 모습이 남아 있는 숲과 계곡, 바다)을 경험하고, 영상화하여 가상공간과 연결합니다. 가상공간의 요소들은 직접 블록을 합체하고 분해하는 과정을 통해 이미지를 구체화 하고, 3D 모델링을 거친 후, 촬영된 현실공간에 놓이거나, 실제 공간에 프로젝션 맵핑되어 표현되기도 합니다.
작업은 최소한의 에너지로 매일의 자연스러운 생각과 작업물들이 모여, 하나의 이야기가 되는 것을 목표로 합니다. 그 하나의 이야기는 즐겁고, 평화로운 작가의 시선을 거쳐 장르에 제한을 두지 않고, 다양한 방식으로 자유롭게 표현됩니다.

Gahyun Kim
Gahyun Kim (G99) is a multidisciplinary artist who archives the world today by combining real and virtual spaces through digital media. And she continues to work on stories not only of people but also of all dimensions of the world.
She connects physical spaces (from constantly changing cities to nature such as mountains, valleys, and seas) with the virtual space by imaging them. The design of the virtual space embodies abstract ideas while actually assembling bricks (such as Lego) and becomes various characters or elements of the virtual space. And these bricks are created in a virtual space through modeling using computer 3D software. They can be located in a real space in a video or combined with a physical space using projection mapping.
She aims to start with small things and work on a daily basis to create a story naturally. The story is out freely in various ways, without limiting the genre through gaze of Gahyun Kim who live peaceful and happy.
